The Monts d'Arrée - (Brittany - Finistère - France)
Having lived for over ten years in Finistère, the land of one of my roots, between Breton and Creole heritages, I fell in love with the Monts d'Arrée. Here, the granite ridges create a landscape that is both stark and majestic. The hills, modest in altitude, from Roc'h Ruz (385 m) to Roc'h Trévezel (384 m), exude a raw power and an almost unreal quality. At the heart of this landscape, the Saint-Michel Chapel, perched on the bare summit of Mont Saint-Michel de Brasparts, stands like a solitary sentinel watching over the moorland and the Monts d'Arrée.
In this breathtaking 360-degree panorama, it overlooks the Yeun Elez, those mysterious peat bogs that legend described as one of the gates of Hell (the Youdig). She is the sacred lock that prevents dark forces from spilling over into the world of the living. An inspiring place with an atmosphere charged with a beautiful energy, the Monts d'Arrée attract hikers, photographers, painters, and all those seeking to connect with what is essential , because here, the landscape is contemplated as much as it is felt. Time seems to stand still.
Photography, a personal path
A hiker and meditation enthusiast, I came to photography as one embarks on an inner journey ( Dedication ). Deeply connected to nature, I have found there a space of silence, communion and grounding in which I feel in harmony with who I am, and in my place.
Photography, when practiced contemplatively, can lead to a form of presence very close to meditation. The camera then becomes a tool for transcending the gaze. Attention is focused entirely on what is there, before us, and sometimes even far beyond. This attentive presence to what is observed often acts like a mirror : in the depths of our gaze upon the surrounding landscape, our inner being is gradually revealed. Nature then becomes a space of transformation.
Welcome to my world...
Post-processing _ "The expression of a personal artistic vision . " _
My photographic practice fully integrates post- processing. Artistic effects are not artifice, but tools of expression that allow me to accentuate the emotional power of landscapes and wildlife, as I experience it, between shadows and light. This is my artistic intention: to convey, through my photographs, my way of experiencing this world : "a parallel world."

Beyond passion, there is sometimes an event, an intimate reason, that guides us towards creation.
Dedication
There are presences that don't linger in time, but in depth. They pass through a life like a fleeting light, and yet, they transform it entirely. We speak of loss, as if something had vanished. But some connections don't disappear. They change form. They leave the visible to inhabit a quieter, more intimate, and also vaster space. What remains is not a frozen memory. It is a presence. A different way of feeling, seeing, loving. Then the world itself is transformed. The light becomes denser. Landscapes speak differently. Each moment carries a new fragility, as if it must now be fully received. There is no longer only what is there. There is also what continues, in a different way: an intact, invisible, but profoundly alive connection.
_ to those whose "subtle presence" still illuminates my vision _
"My photos were born from an inner journey, in the heart of the Monts d'Arrée. If they resonate with you, and if you too explore the world through photography, I would be happy to exchange ideas with you."
